Alpha Lipoic Acid
A mitochondrial fatty acid that is highly involved in energy metabolism. It is a potent anti-oxidant compound. It works with mitochondria and the body’s natural antioxidant defenses. It is also seen as an anti-aging compound since it can reverse some of the oxidant damage related effects of aging.
Arginine
An important amino acid produced in the body and changes into nitric oxide (NO). Nitric oxide is a powerful neurotransmitter that helps blood vessels relax and also improves circulation. It also stimulates the release of growth hormone, insulin, and other substances in the body.
Beta Alanine
Its role is to promote high intramuscular concentrations of carnosine, a small molecule composed of the amino acids histidine and alanine. Beta-Alanine increases muscle carnosine content and therefore the potential to improve endurance and physical performance.
Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAA)
Essential nutrients that the body obtains from proteins found in food, especially meat, dairy products, and legumes. They include leucine, isoleucine, and valine. Glucuronolactone

Lysine

An important phospholipid membrane component which plays a key role in cell cycle signaling, specifically in relationship to apoptosis. It is vital for cognitive function and is used for Alzheimer’s disease, age-related decline in mental function, improving thinking skills in young people, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, preventing exercise-induced stress, and improving athletic performance.
Spirulina
A cyanobacterium (blue-green algae), is a type of one-celled organism. It contains high levels of various vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, E, and K), beta-carotene, other carotenoids, and minerals, including calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium, and zinc. It is also a source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA, an important fatty acid for heart and joints).
Taurine
An organic acid which acts as a lipid/membrane stabilizer in the body and can aid various anti-oxidant defense systems. Taurine has many fundamental biological roles, such as conjugation of bile acids, antioxidation, osmoregulation, membrane stabilization, and modulation of calcium signaling. It is essential for cardiovascular function, and development and function of skeletal muscle, the retina, and the central nervous system. Additionally, the inhibitory GABA receptors in the brain are activated by taurine. It is used to improve mental performance and as an antioxidant.
Theanine
An amino acid that is capable of crossing the blood-brain barrier and is able to help increase and modulate alpha brain waves. These brain waves help to produce a feeling of calm, relaxed alertness.
Tryptophan
An α-amino acid that is used in the biosynthesis of proteins. It is important for the development and functioning of many organs in the body. After absorbing L-tryptophan, our bodies convert it to 5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan), and then to serotonin. Serotonin is a hormone that transmits signals between nerve cells. Changes in the level of serotonin in the brain improve mood.
Iron (Ferrous II Fumarate)
Important for making hemoglobin, the oxygen-carrying red pigment in blood, and myoglobin, a pigment that stores oxygen in muscles. Lack of iron can cause anemia, which can result in fatigue, weakness, and irritability.

Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin)

It also encourages the kidneys to recycle phosphate back into the blood, which helps the blood stay at the right pH. Cholecalciferol is used to treat or prevent many conditions caused by a lack of vitamin D, especially conditions of the skin or bones.
Zinc Gluconate
Important for growth and for the development and health of body tissues. Zinc Gluconate is used to treat and to prevent zinc deficiency. It benefits those with the tendency to common virus symptoms including cough, nasal drainage, and congestion, and has even demonstrated the ability to shorten the duration of these symptoms. Zinc also has applications in pneumonia, diarrhea, male fertility, and Alzheimer disease.

Suitability: Formulated especially for seniors 55 years old and above.

Recommended use: As a dietary supplement, we recommend taking 2 capsules in the morning after meal. For optimum result, take 2 capsules in the evening after meal. Taking 4 capsules per day provides your brain with the right amount of Sage ingredients in order to achieve a higher baseline cognitive ability.
